The paradigm of utilization within a cross-layer environment is unique and where Everis has focused internal research as well as supported customer funded efforts to derive new solutions for the emerging cyber threats.

The Everis engineers successfully developed a platform (CyOON Hammerhead) that scales a cross-layer IPS/IDS solution to drill into the core of even a 40 gbps optical network. Benchmark numbers of a SNORT rule set running on CyOON reduced packet loss to 0% while improving parsing speeds by six fold over a single threaded IDS system.
