ClearCube is the recognized leader in desktop virtualization, centralized computing, and security management infrastructure solutions. With over a decade of innovation and over 30 patents since creating the very first centralized computing solution, ClearCube bundles unsurpassed expertise, knowledge and history into every purpose-built centralized computing.solution to ensure customers achieve their objectives.

ClearCube designs and manufactures the greatest breadth of centralized computing and virtual desktop solutions in order to deliver on the diverse and exacting requirements of customers. ClearCube is the only company that manufactures hardware that supports 5 connection protocols: KVM Extension, RDP, PC-over-IP, PC-over-Ethernet and VDI

As the leader in delivering innovative centralized computing solutions and virtual desktop solutions, ClearCube has achieved numerous industry firsts including:

  • The first end-to-end virtual desktop hardware and software solution
  • The first PC-over-IP quad monitor solution for trading floors
  • The first PC-over-IP quad monitor solution for command and control centers
  • The first and largest deployments of PC-over-IP blade workstations for trading floors
  • The first and only hardware security layer restricting removeable media
  • The first and only User Ports for fiber optic networks for high security environments
  • The first blade workstation

Virtualized Desktop Infrastructure (VDI): can yield dramatic cost savings through the consolidation of physical resources, reductions in energy usage and improved management practices. In a VDI environment, the box PC is eliminated and replaced with centralized servers running in the datacenter. The physical desktops are replaced with Virtual Machine (VM) desktops hosted on the server. Each VM contains an independent operating system with applications and is intended for use by a single user. Users connect to their virtual desktop via a remote access device, similar to a thin client, using one of several communication protocols.

High Availability: 99.9% (vs. 96% for box PC) With ClearCube, locked user sessions or failed PC Blades can be hot-swapped remotely so IT can deliver 99.9% uptime and 10 minute return-to-service. No more 4-hour response times and no more IT trips to the user’s desk. Better Manageability: 10X over box PC ClearCube enables IT to deploy, manage and maintain desktop computing resources centrally, while giving users the power and flexibility of an Intel PC. Centralization translates directly into: fewer trips to the desktop, far more efficient moves/adds/ changes, rapid upgrades and installations, as well as significantly more manageable migrations.

Tight Security and Control: ClearCube Exclusive ClearCube removes the PC from the work environment making the CPU, hard disk and memory inaccessible to users. Mass storage devices can also be physically locked out through a jumper on the blade, ensuring that proprietary data cannot be removed and viruses/incompatible software cannot be introduced into the system via CD or thumb drives.

Improved Work Environment: 10x smaller footprint ClearCube removes the bulky, noisy and heat generating box PC and replaces it with a small, silent user port, which has no moving parts to generate heat. ClearCube’s desktop form factors vastly improve densely populated areas like call centers, trading floors, teller areas, patient rooms and many office settings, by reducing HVAC costs and power consumption in the user environment.

Lower Costs: At least 30% lower than box PC Gartner Group estimates that acquisition price accounts for only 20-25% of the annualized cost of desktop computing. The remaining 75-80% is attributed to issues such as technical support labor, maintenance, training, help desk, administration, security, licensing, move/add/ change and asset management. ClearCube's solution reduces operating costs by at least 30% (Source: IDC, US Air Force) across each of the above hard cost areas.
