PacketJet - Multi Protocol Traffic Generator and Test Equipment
OVERVIEW |
Packetjet™ is a powerful traffic generation appliance including a packet generator engine and a flexible and intuitive configuration interface. Packetjet is used for packet generation and injection for testing network intrusion detection systems, firewalls, IP stacks and more. Packetjet can natively craft ARP, DNS, Ethernet, ICMP, IGMP, IP, OSPF, REP, TCP and UDP packets. Packetjet is able to decode packets of a wide number of protocols, send them on the wire, capture them, match requests and replies, and easily handles tasks like scanning, trace routing, probing, unit tests, and attacks. Any custom packet can be crafted and injected using IP and Ethernet injection. Packetjet is a robust traffic generator saturating your network for functional, load, endurance, stress and performance/benchmarking tests for any kind of protocol. Customized support is available for new protocols. |

An easy to understand Cyber Warrior® user interface profiles all traffic on the port instantly providing at-a-glance display indicating the current operating state of each port. Decoding packets of a wide number of protocols, produce traffic at packet level accurately replicating appropriate stochastic processes for both Inter Departure Time and Packet Size random variable, exponential, uniform, cauchy, normal, etc. Supports both IPV4 and IPV6 traffic generation and is capable of generating traffic at network, transport, and application layers. Capturing synthetic and realworld tim-stamped data, which can be regenerated and replayed at different speeds, ensures technicians can measure against latency of counter measures in a lab environment. |

Lower cost means affordable clustering. Packetjet is able to send real traffic faster and synchronize the generation of test patterns directly on SONET networks where others are only able to send a few fixed patterns. Packjet's ability to send patterns on wireless, Ethernet, PPP and many more is due to the architecture we chose that allows us to easily add new network topologies. All CyWarfius modules can be clustered using standard Ethernet switches, and adapt to enterprise SAN or NAS network file servers and offers a simple Windows GUI. These benefits reduce administrative overhead, lowers cost as it integrates with existing solutions, enhance network performance, and the ability to plan targeted cleanup. |
|
Unprecedented Affordability Packetjet combines next generation hardware with intelligent flexible software for generating traffic on your network to make critical network security decisions and proactively take actions to resolve system vulnerabilities. Utilizing commercial off-the-shelf components drastically reduces cost of ownership. |
