Distributed Taps
Distributed Taps are intelligent traffic capture tools designed to passively tap or receive unidirectional inputs from multiple networks and forward the traffic as selected by the user to multiple independent monitor ports. Distributed Taps feature Selective Aggregation, Filtering, Load Balancing, remote management, intelligent stacking and complete configuration flexibility.
Traditional Taps
Traditional Taps are low port density taps that feature basic full-duplex tapping and static aggregation and replication of network traffic. They are passive (failsafe) hardware devices that provide complete traffic visibility. Product options are available to accommodate inline access as well as SPAN/unidirectional inputs.
